Sometimes you just can’t trust your equipment when making a track; you have to make do with what you have – like in life. One such occasion occurred in the latest edition of Mass Appeal‘s Rhythm Roulette where guest beat maker El-P had to select three records blindfolded and make a beat out of them from scratch. As you’ll soon hear/see, El’s record player needle broke the same day and one of the records was pretty warped to say the least. The risk of Rhythm Roulette. Still, that didn’t stop him from making something grimey as hell so kudos, Mr Meline.
