Sean Price shows us “The Joy Of Painting” as Sean Ross for this week’s Saturday Matinée.
Who remembers Bob Ross? The American painter calmed a nation with his soft spoken painting show, The Joy Of Painting between 1983 and 1994, before his unfortunate death in 1995. He has been parodied countless times (all in good nature) and last year, Sean Price took the mantle of the soothing artist, donning a wig and taking the name “Sean Ross”. Now, the style isn’t quite the same as Bob Ross’ but what he does produce (I presume he painted that himself) was actually pretty good.
Stream it below and prepare to laugh.
