Shad previews Peace, a demo off his upcoming album.
Drake may be the most well known rapper out of Canada but you should never sleep on Shad. Ever. Since his debut When This Is Over, Shad has been weaving incredible wordplay over some fantastic beats. TSOL was his least album and it’s been three years since that kept up his heady momentum (with a mixtape in between). But there’s some good news. The Canadian rapper will soon be releasing a new album and he has been kind enough to throw a demo track, Peace, onto Soundcloud for his fans to preview. Yet again, Shad throws in everything he has lyrically over a brooding soundscape and fitting drum break. This album is gonna be brilliant.
