U Don’t Deserve This Beautiful Art label head and Sampleface alumnus Darko The Super drops two videos in one.
It’s a blessing when we get one video from Darko the Super. But a two-for-one deal? That’s divine.
The two songs in question are The Nightmare of the 90’s is Alive in Charleston (feat. Torito) and I Wish Das Racist Were Still Together, both taken from an upcoming collab album from Darko and BLKrKRT, entitled Card Tricks For Dogs.
The Nightmare of the 90’s is Alive in Charleston sees Darko and special guest Torito shooting hoops and rapping, as they do. But then they wake up in a parking lot and Darko pops a new CD in. The song on it is I Wish Das Racist Were Still Together and the second part of the video kicks in with the pair cruising down the Lincoln Highway(?) in Pennsylvania.
Of all the Darko videos I’ve seen, this is arguably the most relaxed. It features a book of card tricks, some dogs, and Torito in his trademark bull mask. In fact, the mask is the most unorthodox thing in either video. But it is cool.
Card Tricks For Dogs drops on September 6th on U Don’t Deserve This Beautiful Art. Stream some of it below.
