9th Wonder – Bladey Mae (The Beat Tape)

9th Wonder catches us off guard with a mammoth 73-track beat tape, Bladey Mae, named after his grandma.

There was me getting ready to listen to some of the latest releases from this week (The Foreign Exchange, Tanya Morgan, Drake) and out of the blue, 9th Wonder dropped a 73-track beat tape (yep, seventy three) named after his grandmother, Bladey Mae. For any cave dwellers who have yet to hear a beat by 9th or weren’t aware of him by name, you’ll soon recognise his distinctive drum kit and strong soulful chops. I wonder (pardon the pun) who’s gonna jump on these beats and release them without permission *ahem*. Only kidding. Sort of.

Stream 10 tracks below and purchase the beat tape to hear the other 63.
