France’s G Bonson drops his debut release, Do My Thing.
France is a hot bed for hip hop talent, conjuring beat magicians like Wax Tailor, Dela and Onra. Hoping to add his name to the list is G Bonson with his debut album, Do My Thing. Bonson claims his “obsession for cratediggin'” contributed to his music on Bandcamp and this is clearly evident. We have to give props to the guy for his choice of samples – we heard some Nina Simone and Mantronix in there – and the overall structure of the beats. The album is available on Bandcamp as a digital download, a limited edition digipack CD and a special 12″ vinyl + CD pack.
