I love a tribute video and Mr Ekow made a masterpiece for his track, ‘I Am Hip Hop‘.
It starts with the UK rapper with a group of friends inebriated in a basement before the camera zooms into an old VHS/TV combo and the fun really begins. Ekow takes on the roles of:
- Eminem
- Tyler, The Creator
- Kanye West
- DOOM
- Missy Elliott
- Phife Dawg and plenty more
It certainly one of the most creative videos of the year and a true ode to hip hop.
