Preacher(man) – srmns{vol.1}

Chicago’s Preacher(man) drops his debut beat tape, srms{vol. 1}.

It would appear another producer has got the lo-fi bug. Upcoming producer Preacher(man) hails from The Windy City and tonight, he dropped his debut beat tape entitled srms{vol.1}. The religious references don’t stop there though as the cover is “adorned” with the wonderfully comical visage of Reverend X. Beat wise, this one bumps and knocks in all the right places, from the offbeat boom bap-laden jonnyboy to the hazy bluesy rock-sampled murkurey(blues). Comical in places, heavy everywhere else, Chicago hip hop has another upcoming talent in its midst.
