Roland lets you make beats in your browser

The Roland UI

808s and 303s are at your fingertips.

Making music in your web browser isn’t new but that doesn’t stop it being awesome. Roland is a fine example of that.

Yuri Suzuki, in collaboration with the Design Museum and Roland, presents a digital musical instrument emulating the sound of the original TR‑808 drum machine and TB‑303 bass synthesiser.

Considering the cost of hardware (especially original TR-808s and TB-303s) and the fact that we’re still mostly inside, Roland is a great tool to pass the time and make some legit music.
