Roland 808303.studio lets you make beats in your browser

808s and 303s are at your fingertips.

The Roland 808303.studio UI

Making music in your web browser isn’t new but that doesn’t stop it being awesome. Roland 808303.studio is a fine example of that.

Yuri Suzuki, in collaboration with the Design Museum and Roland, presents a digital musical instrument emulating the sound of the original TR‑808 drum machine and TB‑303 bass synthesiser.

Considering the cost of hardware (especially original TR-808s and TB-303s) and the fact that we’re still mostly inside, Roland 808303.studio is a great tool to pass the time and make some legit music.
