UK emcee Tay Devenny drops the eerie and atmospheric “vancouver/Palme”.
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas yesterday. This might not coincide with your cheery seasonal feelings but the music is buoyant in its own way. It’s only been a month since Tay Devenny released his collab EP, Arc, with producer ฬเןl and as a Christmas gift to his listeners, he released “vancouver/Palme”. Unlike his previous tracks, Tay decided to go down the ambient route with minimal drum beats in either part of vancouver/Palme with Lux Natura letting the parallels of the music and the cold lyricism to resonate.
